Earth Day Workday at Linne Woods

Cook County, Illinois. Forest Preserve District Commissioner Larry Suffredin, 13th District, is pleased to announce that he will join volunteers for a workday in Linne Woods in Morton Grove on Saturday, April 23, 2005 in celebration of Earth Day.

What: Earth Day Workday

Date: Saturday, April 23, 2005

Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Where: Linne Woods is in Morton Grove; the entrance to Linne Woods is off Dempster; approximately 1 mile west of the Edens and across the street from the McDonald's; follow the road through the picnic area to where the parking lot dead ends; volunteers will meet in that area and walk to the work site.

Details: Volunteers are welcome to participate for as long as they wish. All equipment and supplies will be provided. The site is often muddy in the spring; please dress accordingly. We'll be working rain or shine.
