Earth Day Workday at Linne WoodsMonday, April 11, 2005 Special to suffredin.org Cook County, Illinois. Forest Preserve District Commissioner Larry Suffredin, 13th District, is pleased to announce that he will join volunteers for a workday in Linne Woods in Morton Grove on Saturday, April 23, 2005 in celebration of Earth Day.
What: Earth Day Workday
Date: Saturday, April 23, 2005
Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Where: Linne Woods is in Morton Grove; the entrance to Linne Woods is off Dempster; approximately 1 mile west of the Edens and across the street from the McDonald's; follow the road through the picnic area to where the parking lot dead ends; volunteers will meet in that area and walk to the work site.

Details: Volunteers are welcome to participate for as long as they wish. All equipment and supplies will be provided. The site is often muddy in the spring; please dress accordingly. We'll be working rain or shine.

The Board of Commissioners for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County passed a resolution on April 7, 2005 proclaiming April 22, 2005 Earth Day in Cook County.
