Women's Issues Commission Releases Public Hearing ReportGirl Violence and Aggression: Problems and SolutionsThursday, August 10, 2006 Special to suffredin.org The Cook County Commission on Women’s Issues has released a report on Girl Violence and Aggression: Problems and Solutions. It is a study of the dangers that young women and girls face in our community. The Commission’s report reviews life experiences from young women, girls, academics, government officials and youth-serving organizations. The report offers recommendations on how to address the problem of girl-on-girl violence and its perceived increase in recent years. “I will work to implement the report’s recommendations,” said 13th District Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin.
