Property Tax Appeal Seminar for Niles Township Taxpayers - Sept. 25Monday, September 11, 2006 Special to suffredin.org Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin (District 13), the Cook County Board of Review and Niles Township Assessor Scott Bagnall are sponsoring a property tax appeal seminar for Niles Township residents. Property Tax Appeal Seminar Monday, September 25 7:00 p.m. Niles Township Hall 5255 Main St. Skokie, IL The Board of Review will conduct the seminar. The seminar will inform homeowners how to determine whether they were over assessed, where to gather evidence for an appeal with the Board of Review and how to fill out and file the assessment complaint form for the 2006 assessment year. This assessment will be for taxes to be paid in 2007. Niles Township residents have until October 18, 2006 to submit their complaint forms to the Cook County Board of Review. Taxpayers are encouraged to bring their Tax Bill, Assessment Notice or Property Identification Number to the seminar in order to complete and submit complaint forms at the seminar.
