Chicago, IL Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin (13th District), Chair of the Legislation and Intergovernmental Relations Committee will hold a public meeting on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cook County Board Room, 118 N. Clark Street, Room 569, to instruct the public and employees of Cook County on how to use the new online Code of Ordinances of Cook County, which will be available on October 1, 2006. The “Cook County Code of Ordinances” was recently recodified by the Cook County Board of Commissioners. When the Code becomes available to the public on October 1, 2006, it will be the first time that citizens, employees of the County and legal practitioners will have the ability to access, search and research the laws of Cook County. Commissioner Suffredin encourages all residents of Cook County to take advantage of the new online Code of Ordinances of Cook County which contains the laws which impact their lives.
