The Cook County Forest Preserve District sponsors a film festival every year in different forest preserves across the area. This is a fun way for a group to get together for a picnic dinner followed by an evening of free fun and entertainment.

Before each film forest preserve district employees and volunteers will lead family-friendly activities to keep the kids busy until the film starts. Who knows? The kids might even learn something new about nature.

Here's the schedule for June, July and August. Be sure to mark the location nearest you on your calendar and get your friends together for free family fun.
