Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin, 13th District, will join volunteers from Chicago Area Mountain Bikers (CAMBr) for a workday focusing on the trails near Bullfrog Lake in the Palos Division of the Forest Preserve District on Sunday, September 5, 2004.

9:00 a.m. to Noon
Meet at the Bullfrog Lake Staging Area - Two miles southwest of Willow Springs, ½ mile south of 95th Street off of Wolf Rd.

"CAMBr contributes a significant amount of volunteer time helping to maintain the mountain bike trails, they discourage illegal trail riding, and promote bicycle safety, said Commissioner Suffredin. "I want to support the work of CAMBr and help bring attention to the trail system that is available throughout the Forest Preserves in Cook County."

"The trails around Bullfrog Lake are great for mountain bikers and riders from across Cook County come to the Palos Division to ride the trails," commented Ed Bartunek, Vice-President of CAMBr.

The workday is open to anyone who wants to volunteer their time, and learn more about mountain bike trails in Cook County. All equipment and supplies will be provided.
