National Automatic Merchandising Association to Present Cook County Beverage Tax Implementation WEBINARTuesday, June 06, 2017 Special to suffredin.org by NAMA On June 14 at 2 p.m. EST, NAMA's Government Affairs Team will provide vending operators, distributors, and suppliers with information needed to comply with the recently passed Cook County Beverage Tax, which is scheduled to take effect on July 1. Issues to be discussed include enforcement, remitting payments, record keeping, registration, and beverages covered by the tax and taxable transactions. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the new tax, which will be submitted to the Cook County Department of Revenue for response. According to NAMA, industry leaders who conduct business in Cook County should attend this webinar. Registration is free.
