10th Annual Photo Exhibit - this Friday, May 17
View the winning photos of this year's photo contest and meet some of the photographers! Let's celebrate the talented people in our community and relish in the beauty of the forest preserves. Reception is 6 - 8 p.m. at Franklin Framing in Blue Island. Refreshments will be served. This event free, but please take a moment now to register.

Centennial Volunteer Workdays - every weekend!
Join this inspiring movement of volunteers removing invasive plants, collecting trash, and gathering and spreading seeds to restore the natural health of rivers and the forest preserves.

Bike Glenview - North Branch Bike Ride - Sunday, August 18
Please join us on this annual free bike ride co-hosted by Bike Glenview. We'll explore the beautiful variety of habitats found along the Chicago River, from Bunker Hill Forest Preserve north to Harms Woods. This ride is designed for cyclists of all skill levels.

3rd Annual Beer in the Woods - Saturday, September 28

Beer in the Woods is back! Enjoy craft beer and cider, interactive animal displays, nature-themed activities, food trucks and more at LaBagh Woods in Chicago. This is a beer and nature extravaganza like no other! And all proceeds go to support the work of the Friends community.
