by Diana Novak A woman claims she was sexually assaulted by a nurse at Stroger Hospital’s burn unit. The woman alleged a nurse assigned to her care made repeated sexual contact with her, culminating in forced sex, according to a suit filed Thursday in Circuit Court. The woman claims the nurse, who is a man, made several visits to her room that she felt were unnecessary. The man also allegedly groped the woman and when she asked him to stop he told her he was a nurse and “it was his job,” before eventually sexually assaulting the woman, the suit said. A hospital spokeswoman did not immediately return a call for comment Thursday.
